How to modify ration card in Kerala

What is the procedure to apply online for a Ration Card in Kerala.

Kerala Ration Card Types –
Kerala ration cards spot four different colours. Types of ration card in Kerala are tabulated below:
Yellow Card-
For – Most economically backward section of society (Antyodaya Anna Yojana Beneficiaries).
Facility – 35 kg of Food Grains completely free of cost
Rice – 28Kg
Wheat – 75 kg
Pink Card-
For – Priority or Below Poverty Line (BPL)
Facility -5 kg of Food Grains completely free for each member of family.
Rice – 4Kg
Wheat – 1Kg
Blue Card –
For – Non – Priority Subsidy or Above Poverty Line (APL)
Facility – 2 kg rice at Rs. 2 per kg per person

White Card –
For – Non – Priority
Facility – Rice – 8.90 Kg
Wheat – 6.70 Kg

To apply ration card online in kerala you should go to official website http://civilsupplieskerala.gov.in/CivilSuppliesKerala/Registration.php and register as an applicant.

Important points Remember for New Ration Card in Kerala –

(1) If you already have a ration card and want to modify it then you register into the official website by entering the bar-code number. The bar code number is on the last page of your kerala Ration Card.

(2) If you have not ration card then choose No.

(3) Filled all details about User and submit the registration form.

(4) On submission of registration form an activation link will be displayed then click on the “Active Account” button to activate you account.

(5) Login to the website Civil Supplies Kerala through User Id and Password that you have entered in the registration form.

(6) If you have not any ration card, there will be displayed three option like Issue of New Ration Card, Non Inclusion Certificate and Non Renewal Certificate.

(7) Click on required function. OR click on the New Application link

(8) Filed the data in correct form and upload all necessary scanned documents only in pdf format. Please note that all pdf files size is less than 250 KB.

(9) Verify all data entered by you whether correct or not. If not correct please correct it then only click on submit button.

(10)Take a computerized ration card application form, which you have submitted  for further procedure and Note the Application Number and Date for future reference.

(11) The information will be displayed once you application has been submitted successfully.

(12) Submit the original documents, application print out and the application fees including the cost of the ration card to the Taluk Supply Office (TSO) for verification and further action.

(13) You will received a token number from TSO office. This number you have to keep this for further follow up until you get your ration Card.

WHAT IS THE PROCEDURE TO APPLY A NEW RATION CARD DIRECTLY (OFFLINE OR TRADITIONAL APPLICATION FOR RATION CARD)?
Purchase an application form from TSO/DSO office by paying Rs. 5.
Apply to your Taluk Supply Office with the filled up form and your old Ration Card.
If you do not belong to the same TSO/CRO then produce the following documents along with the application.
Residential Certificate issued by LSG office (Panchayat / Municipality / Corporation)
Reduction/ Surrender certificate/ non-renewal certificate from the TSO from where you belong previously.
Income Certificate issued by Village officer.
Declaration.
After verification of the above details your new ration card will be issued within 15 days.
